Pastor Luke just burst in the door and told me to write this in 18 minutes or less.

Life is BUSY!!! We all know it, we’re all young adults (or you’re old if you’re over the age of 30); going through life. All trying to balance everything that we go through day in and day out. I know this first hand, I’ve just recently started the IMA and feel like I’m going 100 mph every second of every day, even when I’m trying to sleep, all I can think about is what I need to get done (it sucks, like a lot.) In this season though I’ve learned the importance of really trusting and depending on God.

Currently, I’m probably the busiest I’ve ever been. (Granted I’m 17 but what are you gonna do 🤷🏼‍♂️) as stated before (I just started the IMA, which is a workload In and of itself) but I’m also juggling high school (idk why I would want more school but here we are), church, work, church work, money, AND trying to have a social life. I’m constantly thinking about how much money goes here, or how much I have to drive over the speed limit to get there, or trying to fit in time to sleep, it’s rough. I tried doing it on my own in the past but got burnt out REAL quick. Then a passage of scripture really jumped out at me.

Philippians 4:6, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”

I realized that I need to stop freaking out so much and really trust and believe that God’s got me even when I’m extremely busy. Me trying to balance everything on my own is like trying to start a car without a key, which doesn’t work, believe me I’ve tried. God has the key to the car, I just have to ask for him to give it to me, God is gonna work everything out and help me through this busy season, and this crazy journey called life.
