A walk in the woods

Over this passed couple of weeks I traveled up into the upper peninsula of Michigan and had a great time hanging out with some friends. As I was exploring the untouched rivers and hill sides I was reminded of the beauty of our creator. As I sat and looked at nature in such a raw form I was reminded that our God is creative and has brought nothing into existence that does not have a purpose, nothing includes you.

The Bible says in Psalms 139:14 “I thank you, God, for making me so mysteriously complex! Everything you do is marvelously breathtaking. It simply amazes me to think about it! How thoroughly you know me, Lord!”

God has created you and the very fact that you are still breathing means your life still has purpose. Your best days are not behind you they are right in front of you.

God has made us mysteriously complex but so often we get caught up in our complex busy life’s and forget the wonder, that the same God who created the rivers and hill sides also created us. And no matter how Beautiful the earth is or the sunset becomes, God still only calls them good, but you, when he created you he saw that is was very good.

So be encouraged knowing that your life still has purpose, that God  created you just the way you are. From now on every time you take a walk in the woods let it be a reminder to you that you are God’s masterpiece.
